Binary

I learned how applications are coded. I learned that this is how you code the applications that we use now a days. It is pretty cool to see how it is done. I think that it would be really cool to do this for coding our own applications. That would be really fun to do and could really help us learn our Binary. I learned that you can type in codes like to type in 5 is 00101. That is what I learned about Binary.

Google Earth Drug Bust

Sometimes people get told that people are growing/selling drugs. But on this case the cops found the weed farm because of Google earth. The police were looking at google earth when they saw rows and rows of marijuana. The police then flew a jet over the property to confirm that it was weed. The the police and the Rouge Drug Enforcement Team, went in and arrested the man.

Handshake and Fence Post

 

If you shook everyone in the class hand you would shake 17 hands because if there are 18 students in the class you would have to minus yourself and would shake everyone's hand once which would mean you would shake 17 hands. And if you had a fence that had to be 12 feet long and needed to have a fence post on each side and in between each fence post is 2 ft. Then you would need 7 fence posts. You get this by doing how long it has to be/2+1.

Application

This would apply to if you became a carpenter because if you were a carpenter you would need to divide your planks of wood into the same size and if they were way too different then it wouldn't work out. You would need to get exact sizes and if you mess up it will cost money.

Post

Our group made 11 cuts to make our 12 equal pieces. We first folded our paper in thirds and then folded it in half, then in half again. This almost followed my plan because we did everything except we folded it in thirds on the first fold.

Pre

My guess is that it will take me 24 cuts. I will do it by folding that paper up so there are 12 equal squares and then I will cut along the lines to make 12 peices.

Power Searching Course!

Before Power Searching with Google I knew most of the info from this course.The 5 things I learned to be most helpful from this course is that I learned a few things that could be really helpful like the google image finder, define ______, calculator, and the operator function. I could improve on my research ability. I would recommend this course to other people because it can really help in the research process.
